Family members who are Healthy Blue members can choose the same primary care provider (PCP). Families can also choose different PCPs based on each family member’s needs. Some providers may have age requirements for their patients.
We will mail you a letter if your PCP or specialist is leaving our network. You will receive this letter at least 30 days before the provider leaves if we know ahead of time. If we learn the provider is leaving after the fact, we will send the letter as soon as possible. We will make a good faith effort to send the letter within 15 days after we learn a provider is leaving. You will get the letter in 30 days if we are not able to send the letter within 15 days.
